Big steps today...

Well actually just little tiny baby steps. Today I was holding Jack, who for those of you that don't remember is only 5 months old, and he decided to push his body down my leg so that he was standing on the floor, then proceeded to start taking just a couple steps while holding my hands. Mostly he just stood there holding himself up on flat feet without even wobbling!!! This is after he teased me in to thinking he was about to crawl only two days ago....Either way I doubt it will be long before I"m having to chase him down.

Just as a side note to these pictures of him standing up, do not let that smile fool you. He spent the twenty minutes prior to this screaming his head off because he didn't want to be in any position, to play with any toy, to talk, to sit by himself....he wanted just to scream about not feeling good. Though I'm liking that right now if he gets that way for the most part I can just brush his teeth and he gets all happy instantly. Hope that continues...




Oh yeah and he learned to read in his spare time..
I love how he almost always looks drugged up. I promise it is just that he refuses to take naps because he is too excited about the happenings in our apparently stimulating house.
