As promised....

So I finally made the trek to Walgreens this evening ( after we finally made it home) to put all of the decent ultrasounds pictures on to CD and then post them. I hope that the quality transfers well, they are some pretty good pictures. The ones that aren't creepy anyway. The first three are from approx. 10 weeks gestation, baby was pretty tiny and alien-looking.

The next few are from earlier this week , 15wks. It's hard to tell but in one of the pictures the baby is actually sucking on it's hand, which was really adorable but very hard to capture because boy or girl it's rather ashamed of this apparently filthy habit already. Also note worthy in the other close up of the head, the brain is actually visible. Nice huh?! Of course it is also important to tell you that at this point the baby is drinking in the amniotic fluid, urinating into it and then drinking some more. Delicious!

As Sam was saying in an earlier post, we spent a long time that day trying to determine the sex of baby and we left with nothing but uncertainty. These are the best shots we got that day, one indicating male, the other female. Impossible child already. The entire time we were working on this the baby kept it's legs crossed and for the nanosecond it forgot and uncrossed them, the hand went immediately down there. Modest young lady or extremely curious boy?? We'll see what you think.....

Anyway, whenever we get the camera back from Dad, I might actually take a picture of myself to show documentation of actual weight gain. My grandfather called tonight wondering "how my pregnancy was going," really he just wanted to know if I was getting fat or not. I gave him the gem that I am down to where pair of blue jeans that I can barely button and have to immediately following consumption of food- no matter how much- unbutton them so I can breath. His response was that I wear my jeans too tightly and always looked like I was poured into them anyway. Inappropriate? Not to tell his shameful granddaughter that doesn't vote.
Hope you enjoy the pictures! More to come, I love having free use of Ultrasound equipment at work.

Yeah!!! I'm so proud of you guys! I made Bob look at them, and he said, "yep, It looks like a baby" or some such nonsense. The one where you can see her brain kind of makes her look like an alien. But a cute alien. Anyway, thank you for the pictures and for the new honeymoon ones too, I haven't seen any of those...
